Since its inception in 1934, the Wednesday evening triples league has proved to very popular  and its expansion to four divisions  allows  players of all abilities to participate. Membership of one of the triples teams is an excellent introduction to competitive bowling for new players.

Played over 18 ends, each triples team consists of 3 rinks of 3 players each. One point is awarded  for the winning team on each rink and two additional points for the side with the higher aggregate score.
